How to cope with being a bitter, angry and frustrated person?

Is there anything besides medication that can alleviate stress and anxiety, or should I get used to being reliant on drugs for the rest of my life?

Thanks for any answers.

Try finding out what causes your issues. Then you can see how to make the situation better. You may need medication for a while. But realize most situations causing your problems are minor. Listening to music or getting hobbies should help relax you.

How to become calmer, quieter and more rational and focused?

I really admire these kinds of people since I'm naturally arrogant/cocky and really self-absorbed (I talk about myself all the time). I also seem to make a joke out of everything. I am impulsive and make a lot of stupid and irrational decisions.

I suffer the same fate most of the time..but if you write everything out in a blank book exactly how you want it to be organized...doodles, words, ideas, abstractions, math, can start to understand your problems with a deep sense of introspection. I have also found observing nature in general does this humbling effect as well. Eating apples will help you with patience...sounds funny but it is true.

Exercise a degree of concentration for a while each day - pick the subject and achieve a kind of clarity by scrutinising the smaller details, remembering key points along the way where you note progress beyond what the basic understanding can provide. When you have become more faceted with deeper knowledge, let it become simple again - acknowledge all that information is always there and the array of it requires that you do not move like a dart towards a rash decision about what to say on the matter. In essence the thread becomes the textile, everything is a multiplicity of woven layers - we simply allow a 'stereotype' handle to facilitate our grasp and more frequently cease to look further into things. If you know a lot of things and how any one thing may affect another - you'd be more anchored, humble and perhaps reluctant to impose anything other than a quiet and rational understanding. You have at the stage you describe begun to understand the implications of bing the way you are, so you should instinctively pause at the right moment and know it is the fork in the road where you can choose which path to take - do not worry about personality & character though, everybody is a lifetime in the making, there's no experience like all that your life can undergo.

How to distinguish an introvert and a shy person?

Are there any features in behavior or appearance of a person helping to get that he/she is an introvert or shy person?

Both words are generally descriptive of the same traits, and neither all introverts nor all shy people share all of the same traits. Just as there is no single "human nature," individuals vary on many traits, and commonly these traits range on a continuum of a trait being absent to a trait being a dominant feature in the individual's character. Some may instinctively avoid the spotlight due to introversion, some may be satisfied with comfortable mediocrity, and some may fear attempting to be great because they believe they will fail. Carl Jung theorized on personality types, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator testing attempts to identify various human traits.

How to get rid of my depression and insecurity?

I always thought I was the most smartest boy on the earth and during my 17 years I start thinking I'm the most handsome boy on the planet. I consider myself the only unique boy on this planet. Okay, first of all I don't feel inferior I never did even when I was a child I feel like I know more than god which means I feel smarter than him. I seem to love myself rather than other people which means I don't love my family. I don't act this way towards my friends because I feel I might get beat up.

How to become a psychiatrist in Australia?

Hi there, as stated I live in Australia, an I was wondering what process I have to go through to become a psychiatrist. I am currently studying year 12 VCE, and next year, plan on going to university and studying psychology. I have already completed my VTAC course selection, and have chosen to study psychology, but do I need to change this to become a psychiatrist, or is that something I chose later on in my studies. THANKS!

You need a medical degree to become a psychiatrist. Psychologists work in human resources in companies or work as cousellors. They cannot deal with people who need medicine to deal with their problems, only problems which can be solved with talking only.

How to force the brain to think of something else?

Like i think about my crush and i want to change the subject. How do i do this?

Nearly everyone has negative thoughts sometimes. Negative thoughts often occur before negative emotions*. It's important to regularly monitor, and deal with a negative internal monologue (self talk), or mental process, such as disturbing thoughts, images, impulses, etc., by the process of (a): recognising it, and (b): challenging it immediately. Use the "Technique For Re-Programming Negative Thoughts" - When you notice something negative, such as: "I can't do this/ am never going to get over this!" or: "Why am I always so useless/such a loser?" or even an image, emotion, or a memory; recognise that it is being generated from the negative part of your mind. After identifying and labelling it, visualise a large, red, flashing, "STOP!" sign, and/or possibly a stern faced person wagging an index finger at you in a negative manner, then say to yourself as forcefully as you can, even aloud in a big voice, if alone: "I know this tactic: GO AWAY FOR A WHILE !!!" You may want to use either: "ruse", "ploy", "game", or "trick". In the case of an image, visualise a large "STOP" sign, or your preferred version. Some people go so far as to keep a wide rubber band in their pocket, then put it around their wrist, when they catch themselves backsliding, stretch and release it, as a method of reprogramming their mind sooner, but I don't regard it as being strictly necessary. Remember to remove it, afterwards, if you use this method. Try replacing a negative thought with a positive affirmation of your choice, like: "I am a unique individual, with my own set of skills, and good points", or "I may not be perfect, but I'm doing the best I can, right now", or "I choose to be more positive". But painful feelings can be indirectly controlled by physical action, and changing our present thoughts for different thoughts (since feeling occurs as a result of thinking.) Painful thoughts can be directly controlled by choosing replacement thoughts for the ones that are troubling us. Sure, it takes some practice to change a long habit of suffering. But it can be done. Of course it can't be done if we choose to believe that it can't be done. But, since the choice is ours, why not choose to believe it can be done, and do it?" Burns, M.D. Hypnosis is merely a heightened state of suggestibility, in which you are better able to communicate with your subconscious mind; view about what it is, and isn't. 85% of people are suggestible to some degree; 15% - 20% highly so, and 15% - 20% aren't much at all, so you could either preferably seek professional hypnotherapy, or, if not an option, has one about stopping negative thoughts. How to develop an intelligence/intuitiveness, able to discern what's real and not real?

I've never been good at reading people's intent and have had trouble handling myself in tough situations. Trusting people, believing who they say they are and how they present themselves can become confusing to me at times. Good judgement of character and situations are skills i have never mastered. How can i develop these skills? I suppose, developing street smarts? Thank you for your time : )

Always seek wisdom and knowledge. As long as you're constantly learning, questioning, and growing, you are on the right path.

How to continue life if I am a reject of everything?

I am a cashier 22y/0 for 5 years and people still has doubts in me. I have improved a lot yet people judge me based on my looks. I am friendly but I am so behind on everything

-In school, everyone wants to party and I am not like them
-In church, the ministry is full of adults
-at work, I work with different nationality
-at home, nobody is the same page as me

I need to move but my family is broke. What should I do?

Nobody can be terrible at everything~ so if you have a friend- doesnt matter if theyre close to you or not, you should go to them for help. I think they would understand your situation much better than me~ and it might seem a little awkward but you only live once and you may as well try to make it better every day
